The Director General (DG) of Immigration and Passports in Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, has chaired a meeting in Islamabad to review measures aimed at improving passport services.
Senior officials discussed passport issuance and processing, the introduction of passport application services at NADRA registration centers, integration with the Pak ID mobile app, and passport delivery services.
The DG directed officials to resolve operational issues on a priority basis and strengthen coordination among the institutions involved in providing passport services.
He also called for the expansion of digital services and the simplification of procedures to make passport applications and related services more accessible to citizens.
Officials were instructed to continue improving service delivery and make greater use of digital solutions to provide faster and more user-friendly passport services.
