On Sunday, Ffos Las Racecourse will host the Celebrate In Style At The Bridge Novice Stakes, where Romanza will be considered one of the leading contenders. According to Sky Sports News, Charlie Fellowes’ runner will drop in class after competing in a Listed race.
The Frankel gelding has a rating of 90 after five starts this season. In his previous race, he finished close to the leaders in a Listed contest, so Sky Sports calls him a tough opponent for the other runners.
Romanza’s rivals
Silent Force, trained by Andrew Balding, will make the second start of his career. He finished third at Newbury last month and will be ridden by Callum Hutchinson in the Ffos Las race.

In the Bridge, The Home Of The Carvery Nursery Handicap, Rhodes Runner will compete against seven rivals. Ralph Beckett’s filly claimed her first victory with a convincing win in a novice race at Chester. BlondieLarry makes his handicap debut with a rating of 73 after two consecutive second places; he is trained by Jamie Osborne.
Campeona and Carthusian will meet in the two-mile Happy Birthday Alex, From The Bridge Handicap. Campeona, trained by Sir Mark Prescott, won three races in a row in the summer but was beaten in her last two starts. Carthusian won at Chester on his debut for Jennie Candlish’s stable.
