Northeast : Sanitary inspection of pharmacies

On Friday, August 7, 2026, as part of the health inspection campaign conducted by the Northeast Departmental Directorate (DDNE) until December 2026, inspectors from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI/DDNE), in collaboration with health officers from the Northeast Health Directorate (DSNE), were on a mission in the municipality of Trou-du-Nord.
The teams are conducting inspections of pharmacies to verify compliance with health standards and current regulations. These inspections focus in particular on the storage conditions of medications, the hygiene of the premises, product expiration dates, and compliance with legal requirements applicable to pharmaceutical establishments.
According to the Departmental Director of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for the Northeast and the Departmental Director of the DSNE (National Directorate of Pharmaceutical Products), this joint campaign aims to strengthen control mechanisms, ensure compliance with health standards, and protect public health by guaranteeing the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products available to consumers.
